2nd Period

  • Respond to the following prompt in your Daily Writing Journal– Title: “Tuesday CHOOSE-DAY” – Choose one of the following prompts to write about. (Use your imagination.)  1. You discover a magic portal in the park. Where does it lead to?  2. You just ate a cookie that turned you 15 feet tall. What do you do next?
  • Re-read Mentor Text 4.2 – “A Picture of Peace” – Practice Summarizing
  • Constructed Response/RACE Strategy practice over the passage

Friday, March 22

2nd Period

  • JOY Jar” –  Write down a moment or a memory that makes you feel happy. If you can’t think of a moment or memory, then write down one positive thought.  Please use complete sentences and keep it school appropriate.

7th Period

  • SSR Reading/Book Talk
  •  Read our class novel
